Divided into land based (Hike or Bike in), and Watercraft Only access. Note; These are remote backcountry campsites, no facilities available.
 
Land Based Backcountry Camping

Space Coast North, Landbased ; Includes Buck Lake and Seminole Ranch Conservation Areas, Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area and Hal Scott Regional Preserve.

 

Space Coast Central, Landbased; Cocoa Area, Burton Smith Regional Park.

 

Space Coast South, Landbased ; Includes Sebastain River State Preserve, Fort Drum Conservation Area.

 
Watercraft Only Access Backcountry Camping
These campsites are islands or located in backcountry wetlands, accessible only by watercraft
 

Space Coast North, Watercraft : Includes Econlockhatchee River, Canaveral National Seashore, as well as islands of the Indian River Lagoon Spoil Island Project.

 

Space Coast Central, Waterctraft; Includes River Lakes Conservation Area along the St Johns River and Samsons Island on the Banana River in Satellite Beach.

 

Space Coast South, Watercraft : Includes Three Forks Conservation Area and Blue Cypress Conservation Area along the upper St Johns River as well as islands of the Indian River Lagoon Spoil Island Project.
