In this part of the Lagoon the Grassflats that are
so prevelant throughout the north section are not as
evident. However fish can still be taken, especially
when pods of baitfish are showing on the surface of
the water. Otherwise the best bets here are around
the spoil islands to the South of the causeway,
Spoil Shoals (Submerged spoil islands) and near
unused fishing docks, which tend to draw schools of
baitfish and provide cover and foraging for
gamefish.
