This fishing paradise presents anglers with opportunities to sight fish tailing reds, prowl for trophy trout at dawn and catch a variety of species day and night. This unique estuary is nearly landlocked with no nearby ocean inlet. As a result, shots at massive schools of oversize redfish that remain in the lagoon year round are possible. Tarpon, snook, ladyfish, black drum, and sheepshead are all possibilities when the trout and redfish bite is slow. The variety of strategically located boat ramps ensure short boat rides to the fish and longer fishing days.
