Mims Boat Ramp Fishmap

The Mims Boat ramp puts you just a little north of the Railraod Bridge to KSC and provides access to the intracoastal channel leading to Haulover Canal, the Marsh Bay Area, and Dummits Cove Area. Seagrass beds in this area are among the healthiest in the northern Indian River Lagoon area due to protection from development and runoff along the eastern shoreline by the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge and along the western shoreline by the Florida East Coast Railroad. While the east shore areas are more expansive fish can be caught along the western shore as well.
